Auditions – June 5 at 6:00 PM
Calling all singers, performers, and Seagull Shores enthusiasts! Auditions for Annie Anthem & the Beach Town Bandstand will be held on Wednesday, June 5 at 6:00 PM. We’re seeking energetic performers of all ages to bring this patriotic musical comedy to life.

Main Characters:

  • Annie Thompson (9 years old)
    A spunky, determined girl with a booming voice and an even bigger dream — to finally sing the full National Anthem at Seagull Shores’ Bandstand Festival.

    • Must be able to sing the National Anthem flawlessly & 16-32 bars of a comedic song​

  • Teddy Martin (9 years old)
    Annie’s loyal friend and fellow entrepreneur. A laid-back surfer kid with big dreams, a cajón drum, and a heart of gold.

  • Mayor Bud Simmons (50s, Male)
    The well-meaning but disorganized mayor who’s always trying to make Seagull Shores as exciting as its flashier neighbors — often to comical results.

  • Delores “Dottie” Bell (30s, Female)
    A former Broadway chorus girl turned diner owner. She may have traded the big stage for pancakes, but she’s still got spotlight dreams.

  • Sam Rivera (30s, Male)
    A dedicated music teacher and marching band leader with a deep love for his town. He’s on a mission to make this Founders’ Day the best one yet.

  • Marcy Jenkins (40s, Female)
    A savvy lawyer from Capitol Point with her sights set on the city council — and big plans to commercialize the laid-back charm right out of Seagull Shores.
