B.E.T.A. on Broadway, the elite youth touring company of the B.E.T.A. We are proud to bring B.E.T.A. on Broadway back to the Emerald Coast, continuing our tradition of inspiring and entertaining through the arts while performing for our community.

Depending on touring bookings, Saturday mini retreats may also be scheduled once per season.
Is there a cost to participate if I am cast?
Since B.E.T.A. on Broadway is not a class, there is no tuition required for cast members. However, there is an operations cost of $1,600 for the full eight-month touring season (Winter and Spring terms) or $800 for one term.
With support from our parent company, Surfside Music Theatre, these costs are subsidized as follows:
-
Students consistently enrolled in voice studio or acting for stage and screen lessons with Surfside Music Theatre qualify for a subsidized fee of $450 per term or $900 annually, payable in three installments of $150 each (Sept 1, Oct 1, Nov 1 for Winter; Feb 1, Mar 1, Apr 1 for Spring). Please note: voice and acting lessons are a separate cost, paid directly to the respective coach.
-
Students not enrolled in lessons with Surfside Music Theatre are subsidized at a reduced rate of $1,400 for the full eight-month touring season or $700 per term, payable in three instalments of $233 each (Sept 1, Oct. 1, Nov. 1 for Winter; Feb 1, Mar 1, Apr 1 for Spring).
Additional opportunities are also available for Actors’ Equity Association members (with guest artist approval) and recording artists who have been represented and produced by a reputable record label.
Uniforms are mandatory and the responsibility of each cast member. Costumes may also be a cast member’s expense, though the theatre can often assist depending on production needs. Required items include jazz shoes, tap shoes (as needed), character shoes, and modesty wear for quick changes.
